Isola dei Nuraghi Bianco Samas

Still white wine from Sardinia, Isola dei Nuraghi IGT, 13% ABV, produced by Agricola Punica. Blend of 80% Vermentino and 20% Chardonnay. 0.75L bottle, 2024 vintage. A wine born from the collaboration between great names in Italian wine, combining the freshness of Vermentino with the structure of Chardonnay. The grapes are carefully vinified, with controlled fermentation at 16°C and aging on the lees for approximately 40 days. The subsequent blending of the two varieties and a further 3-month aging in small reinforced concrete tanks completes the natural maturation and stabilization of the Samas, which is not treated with intermediate fining or filtration. On the nose, it opens with a typical bouquet of tropical fruit and citrus notes, with evident Mediterranean aromas of sage. Bright straw yellow in color with light greenish reflections. On the palate, it is soft and balanced, with a pleasant savory and fresh character.
